A rising star from 2006 American Idol competition, Jordan Sparks at only teh age of 17, was the youngest star that won the competition in the show’s series.
After winn the 2006 American Idol contest, Jordin Sparks released her debul, self-titled album later in the same year. The album was very well received and it has won the platinum status given by the Recording Industry Association of America.
The album sold over 2 million copies and it features a mega-hit song “Tattoo”, which reached its way to the US Billboard Hot 100.
Jordin released her second album 2 years later in 2009 called “Battlefield”. It reached the 7th position on US Billboard 200 and it leading hit-single named after the album was a huge success. Jordin was ranked by the popular music channel VH-1 on the 92nd place on “100 Greatest Women in Music”Selling millions of albums and singles World-wide, Jordin Sparks remains as one of the most successful American Idol winners ever.
Expanding venues
Jordin has expanded her activities to other branches alongside singing and performing. She has been performing and developing her talents in Broadway while also designing her own perfumes. Jordin has had many tv appearances such as the 2009 “Suit Life On Deck” which was also her first acting role. A year later Sparks made her first Broadway appearance in the musical film called “In The Heights”as Nina Rosario. She has also appeared in the remake of “Sparkle”, a remake of the original musical film from 1976.
Something new
After her long, half of decade solo career, Jordin Sparks released her mixtape named “ByeFelicia” in 2014 which was the start of her new record deal with Sony Music Entertainment and her third album “Right Here, Right Now”. Jordin let out a single in support of the album named “Left Behind”.
