Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger is best known for her previous role of lead vocalist in the all-successful band Pussycat Dolls.

Born in 1978 as Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Veliente in Hawaii, Nicoles parents divorced when she was just a baby and she traveled with her mother and stepfather to Kentucky.

Nicoles inspiration to become a singer came when she heard a tape of Whitney Houston. She loved the recording so much she swore to herself to become a singer. This led her to sign up into the Wright State University in Ohio where she gained knowledge of theater and dance.

While she attended the school, Nicole got the opportunity to be a back-up singer for a group called Days of the New. This led to her dropping out of college. Soon she became the lead vocalist for an all-girl band Edens Crush and they produced a hit called “Get Over Yourself”.
